5/7/2024
Pine is very clear and starting to get low, but hatches continue to be strong.  March Browns, Caddis, and BWOs are on the water.  Temps have been holding in the low to mid 60's.  Cooler weather this week and rain should keep temperatures in check.  Anglers reported some sulphurs too in the region.  These should be more plentiful soon.

4/30/2024
Conditions are perfect and there are a ton of bugs on the water.  Caddis are coming off in huge numbers as well as some hendricksons and March Browns.  Evenings are filled with rising trout taking a variety of dries.

4/23/2024
Pine is in excellent shape going into the weekend.  A few caddis, quill gordons, hendricksons, and stones are hatching.  Few rising fish these past few days, but topwater action should improve greatly this week!  Temps are holding in the high 40's to low 50's. A variety of nymphs, wooly buggers, and worm flies are all working.  With warmer weather moving in this weekend, we expect to see some excellent fishing!

4/14/2024 Pine is coming back down and today it is running much clearer.  Conditions will be ideal again probably Tuesday.  As of this morning, levels are still up and running about 2 feet high.

4/12/2024 More rain has Pine Creek on the rise again.  Yesterday anglers did well on most of the creek and it was running high but clearer.  Today, we have dirtier conditions and levels are steadily rising.  Expect tough conditions through the weekend on Pine with high winds and cooler temps coming tomorrow.  Conditions will start to improve early next week as this storm system passes.

4/6/2024 Pine is coming down nicely and clearing.  Marsh Creek is still dumping dirty water in, but upstream of there, it is in much better shape.  Levels should be ideal in a couple more days.

4/4/2024 Heavy rains pounded the area all week and Pine is current blown out and running solid mud.  It'll be at least a few days until this gets close to fishable conditions again.  The smaller tribs will clear up and drop a little faster and things should start to improve by early next week.

3/31/2024 Great reports all weekend from the Keystone Select stretch! Black stones are hatching and a variety of nymph and streamers are working.  Pine is a nice level.  Temps are still holding in the upper 40's.

3/25/2024 Pine is fishing well through the recently stocked Keystone Select stretch.  Size 12-14 black stoneflies are hatching.  Copper Johns, Prince nymphs, wooly buggers, squirmy worms, mops, hare's ears, frenchies, and similar staple patterns are all working well.
